2013 turbo veloster. I'm new to this forum and needed advice or confirmation. I have a 2013 turbo veloster with 90,000 miles. Wanting to do a 90,000 mile service on it I called hyundai to set up an appt..asked how much it would be and was told $1300.00 which included trans flush 250.00, brake bleed 200.00 and spark plug change. $500.00 etc..After searching & researching there is only one company who makes the passenger side motor mount for the Veloster Turbo. Turbo Tech is the only company who makes this specific mount & Turbosocks also carries the Turbo Tech Mount. It is listed for $190, which is a bargain considering the OEM Hyundai motor mount sells for $209.The car might shudder after one or two seconds to alert the driver. If higher temperatures are detected, the transmission control unit has four stages of protection. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd stages display a message that the “temperature is too high” and the driver needs to pull over. Right now, I'm fairly unsatisfied with it's ability to get to higher speeds and push further when it is in higher gears. Already the air intake has been replaced with a wonderful K&M Typhoon, so that's taken care of.
