The only nice thing I can say at this point is the newer gateway regains service much faster than the 3800 I started on. Rather than taking upwards of 5 minutes, it retrains in a minute or so. I note that because ever since I was "upgraded" to the 589, my service has been downgraded to losing sync and service every 20-30 minutes.I have rebooted the entire system several times; however, problem persists.
