It's been a good tractor, 7000 hrs. and no trouble to speak of. The 786 was never avalible with a cab and was only avalible with the D-358 German Diesel. The last of the 886's also had this engine.

Any flow that does not go through the orifice goes to the oil cooler and then returns to lube the range transmission and rear end.Switch the two sensors and see if the problem moves to the odd gears. If so then change the sensor. Should also check regulated pressure, could be running on the low side and one sensor is just more sensitive. If pressure is on low end, get it increased or you'll cause damage to clutch packs.The trans oil is all incorperated with the font axle, so there is no sepreate pump, oil cooler, filter like the 4366 has. Also, on the later 4*86 the brakes are similar to the 1*86 2wd's. The cooling system is also bigger on the 4386 vs the 4366. As metioned the cab is a lot better, fuel tanks is bigger too.

The sprag clutch is 1" wide compared to .75" in original equipment TA’s.
