I wrote a personal statement on what my tinnitus symptoms were, and how they've been since service. I attended a VA examination for hearing loss and tinnitus. Examiner diagnosed me with tinnitus. Due to my MOS (artillery) the audiologist said it was likely due to military service. Never had any complaints in service or after in my medical records.
