Installed in minutes and uses the stock cable that the TM had for the Keihin. I have a Lectron on my 300 XC-W. It required a special cable (MOTION PRO). Lectron-No jets, uses a flat surface on one side and round on the other side of the needle. The round side faces the intake or air boot.

Here are the modifications I made: 1. Lathe: I turned down the outside diameter of the front Lectron sleeve from 1.800" (45.7mm) to 1.740" (44.2mm). I wanted to turn it all the way down to the diameter of the Keihin, 1.650", but that would remove the majority of the sleeve and leave a very thin wall thickness. 2.Bigger carb = bigger riverbed but the flow increase will be negligible because the volume of your engine cant create enough pressure to pull more air. As you increase in RPM, you add more air, and the flow rate will increase. This is where the compromise takes place. Velocity is important for several reasons.Fuel economy is always a matter of the 'jetting' being right and has nothing to do with it being a magic carb, FI or what ever. Both use a needle to be the pilot, needle and main, with the adjustment performed by needle swaps and turning a knob.
