Pt cruiser cranks but wont start
Pt cruiser stalling issue. I have a 2008 Pt Cruiser limited with 85750 miles on it. It has this issue where it stalls when it is warmed up at idle. At idle you can feel it slowly start to shake more and more until it stalls completely, but it starts right up with no problem. 2 posts · Joined 2015. #2 · Oct 17, 2015. my 06 pt cruiser 2.4 would not start so i replaced the cam sensor and it ran for about a month then stall again i replaced the crank sensor it ran about another month and would not start! so i unplug the coumpter and replug it and it fired up several times so i shut it down and atempted to start it ...Time for diagnosis. Get someone to scan it and write the P codes down. Next time it won't start pull a plug wire and check for spark. If there is spark see it will fire and run a few seconds after spraying some starter fluid in the throttle body.
