Nitride vs phosphate barrel

I have been researching the above 3 gun barrels and have narrowed my 3 choices to CVA Accura V2, T/C Bone Collector, Traditions Strikerfire. I currently own a .45 cal and would like to purchase a .50 cal. The CVA Bergara Nitride barrel is advertised as guaranteed rust proof. Does anyone have experience or suggestions on any of these guns?

Except Nitride has changed things. It used to be chrome lined vs phosphate or blued. Nitride actually hardens the metal without the thickness variances of chrome lined. Many folks say it is better because of that. Reality is unless you shoot thousands of rounds a year you wont outshoot the barrel.Both work very well however, Chrome lining is a bit tougher in extended fire (auto fire). Nitriding can yield a more accurate barrel, as there is NO coating in the bore. Nitriding cleans better, has a smoother & ”cleaner” look to it, when compared to the phosphate outer surface of a Chrome-lined barrel.
