Nclex shut off at 88 questions
I thought for sure I would pass in 75. My heart dropped when I went onto 76, then 80, then 90.. all the way to 145! Ended up passing after 145 questions! I just finished my NCLEX this today with 145 questions. I got overwhelmed with the number of SATA questions I was getting.1. Mscoleman78. 138 Posts. Feb 19, 2017. My test cut off at 85 questions and I left the testing center in tears and after talking to my family I realized that I needed to chill. 85 questions mean you really knew alot or nothing and I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you knew something and you passed!!!!

All the other times I got to the very end with 265 and of course, failed. Today it shut off at 110 and I felt more confident than ever.Just took my NCLEX- Stopped at 130 questions. Please give me your "stopped at 130" success stories🙏 I left the test site feeling defeated and feel like there is no way I passed. I took it yesterday so I probably won't get my quick results till Monday.
Shut off at 85 . Hello everyone. Just finished my exam about 10 mins ago and I'm spiraling cause I feel like I guess everything. So can anyone tell what are the chances of failing if you shut off after the 85th question ... Passed the NCLEX in 85 questions. Was convinced I failed. Here's my advice (long).I took the NCLEX-PN today and it shut off at 85. Last time I failed but it shut of at 110 questions. I came home and did the pearson vue trick. It won't let me register for a new test. Hopefully its a good omen, but as soon as the quick results are ready, I'm going to take a look.My goal was to take 1200 practice questions before the NCLEX. In 30 days that is just 40 practice questions a day. As the test was approaching though, I started doing about 70-100 questions a day. Except for the day before the exam. The day before the exam I took 2 Readiness exams on Archer, and called it a day.I took the NCLEX-RN this morning. It shut off at 75. I had 30 SATA and 2 med calc questions. I feel pretty good about it b/c all the questions were "high level" questions, but man! Some of those questions were crazy! Anyhoo, I have to wait 48 hrs to get my results I'm just glad I got it over with!!! :chuckle
The last semester we did two practice full-length HESI comprehensive tests which were 160 questions in 5 hours, my final score was 878. If question 265 puts you or keeps you above the pass line, you pass. It is possible to answer question 265 wrong and still pass. As long as answering question 265 wrong doesn't cause you to dip below the pass line, you pass. I feel drown, but I have to keep going. The last time I look up I was at question 92. After about 15 minute later, the computer shut off (between 92-100 questions). I was confused and nervous.
