FNBO Pre-Qualification. My wife Prequalified about a week and a half ago for thier lowest rate and max SL of 15K. She opened a Chase Amazon and Citi CC cards and then rechecked the prequal site 2 days later and was still prequalified for the same amount and APR. Application went to review and then a few days later she was denied.However, Oportun's website states that "credit card loan amounts range from $300 to $1000", which to me reads like $1k is the max CL they offer. The terms seem okay, for an unsecured rebuilder card: 24.90-29.90 APR range, $49 AF, 25 day grace period. I haven't heard anything about them as a lender, though.

Us Bank is very conservative these days anything over 2-3 cards a year obtained and most likely it will be a denial. The have tightened up within the last 6 months to a point of silly imo, but it is what it is. Was just messing around with pre qualifiers and had a pre qualified offer for the chase Amazon rewards prime visa. Had a single APR no ranges I know that's usually a good sign. anyway, my question is how reliable is chase's pre qualify?
