Msi laptop fan control
Laptop Model: MSI Katana GF66 UC. Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 3050 4GB. I have also attached an image depicting the CPU, memory, disk usage, and fan speed to provide a better understanding of the issue. I have taken these steps to resolve the problem, but the fan noise remains a persistent concern.Switched over to Green Mode for a bit, dropped down to 30C. Fan still wouldn't stop, was running at 2800 RPM until I moved the first slider up to 100% and it went to 4800 RPM and wouldn't come back down. Well, I finally got it to turn off the fan after some fiddling. Now the CPU is back up at 42C and fan doesn't seem to want to start back up.new gp76 here. weird, but the min speed for the fans is ~2000 RPM. First fan (CPU) is WAY LOUDER than the second fan (GPU) My guess is that they locked the min RPM at 30% or so, sometimes companies do this for GPUs as far as I know, but they did it also for the CPU, might be because it has an integrated GPU. doesn't make sense.

That's the problem. The GPU doesn't have it's own fan so it's not controllable through afterburner. Try with this instead. MSI Center has fan control. (On my laptop at least) Hit Start. Type "MSI center". Open program. Click on Features. Click on User Scenario. Click on Extreme Performance. Click on the gear icon right beside performance. Under Fan Speed click Advanced move fan speed up from 0 to say 10%. Click apply
