Mar 13, 2006 · I use aft station and ez-steer, have extended tiller handle also as a backup and I have had a TR-1. (currently at factory #$#@!!) Preferred method right now is ez from aft steering. I have the kicker XXL shaft on the swim platform (see pic) with no issues. I couldnt do tight figure 8s by any means, but for trolling and wider turns works fine.Attach one washer to the steering handle of the main motor and the other one to the kicker motor. Use the screw clamps to secure the washers in place. Install a pipe collar to the main motor to keep the washer in place.
