I lost spark on my atv yesterday, so I pulled my stator off last night to see if there was any loose connections, I was wondering what would be the right Ohms reading on my multimeter, using the red/black, red and the green wires in the plug from the stator. Double check that your battery cables are clean and tight. If that doesn't help, jump the two posts on top of the solenoid (relay) with an old screwdriver or something. This will bypass the internal workings of the solenoid and send power straight from the battery to the starter. When you test either the CDI igniter or the rectifier/regulator you want to use a very high impedance digital multimeter. Analog units will not work, nor will the ultra low cost versions of the digital meters now available. If it's out of range remove the cap and measure the secondary resistance it should be 5.8 - 7.2 K Ohm anything more or less than those ranges the coil is bad.
