It won't shift gears or go into neutral. I had to use the supplied tool to manually get it into neutral and then it will shift into first gear with the shift button but ...I've never seen an ATV do that, though. Put a 8mm wrench or socket on it and try to shift it up and down. If that works than your problems are electric. Remove the shift motor from the lower front of the engine/transmission. (It is very simply to remove with four 10mm bolts). Once you have it off, remove ALL the old, gummy, stiff, grease that is in the shift motor gears.
