The P1381 is a fairly straight forward code pointing to a problem with the Cylinder Position (CYP) Sensor. On this vehicle, the CYP sensor is built into and part of the distributor assembly. If/When the CYP sensor fails, the distributor as an assembly will need to be replaced.
