21 posts · Joined 2008. #1 · Nov 3, 2015. On my '09 Acadia the Stabilitrak and Traction Control warning lights have been on for the last couple of months. It is running absolutely fine. I really want to avoid taking it to the dealer and I came across a potential 'fix' that involves changing the brake light switch.While driving on a highway, my 2010 E displayed the Traction Control off/Service Stabilitrack/Engine Power is Reduced messages. I couldn't accelerate above 100km/h. I stopped, turned it off, started it up and manually turned off the Traction Control. The service engine light stayed on, but the other messages disappeared. The car ran normal.
