Just wanted to say, after reading through as much as I can find on the '13 GC's, you can actually disable the Seatbelt Indicator and chime through the BCM using a dealerships GDS computer. Takes about 5 minutes to do and about 10-25 minutes to update the BCM.Anyway, what I was getting at is that if you need to be reminded that you or your front seat passenger are not wearing your seat belt, there is still red flashing warning lights on the dash to convey this message. I know the post says a Legacy but this forum is for outbacks, they're practically the same cars. anyways did anyone figure out how to disable the seatbelt chime with the push button yet? i have tried the 20 time in and out within 30 seconds, however, had no luck.Simply put belt on, turn key on, wait till everything boots up in the cluster then Unbuckle and buckle three times while finishing with it buckled. Turn ignition off and you should hear a chime. No more belt alert. When you say turn key on, is you saying to turn the switch on or crank the truck.
