Fighter is really good imo. I play a mystic knight and I have a fighter pawn. I can teach him stuff while also doing my thing. Add a mage pawn and a ranger and it’s perfect. It’s really useful having a buddy with at the front lines. As a mystic knight you’re more tactical and you need space to breathe.
