Simply because of the range you can get out of it in comparison to some of the others. Especially running the sharpshooter class. I believe my furthest kill is 660 meters with it. Find the gun, then play with the scope to find your sweet spot. I use the 6x scope, with an acog style mounted on a m17 for close/mid range shots. 2.
