He doesn't have too many skills that you can pop a few points in and get a huge benefit from immediately, like Maya's Sweet Release or Salvador's Inconceivable.Zer0 and the Gunzerker. I think Bloodlust is more straightforward, so you don't need explanations on skill points thrown there. One thing though, the Quasar or a Singularity grenade works wonders for setting Bloodsplosion chains.
