I have a 2016 chevy 2500hd and the daytime running lights will not turn off even with the truck turned off, key out of the ignition, and truck locked or unlocked. The only way to turn them off is to disconnect the battery. I have a new light switch on order just to eliminate that as the problem.After inspecting the belt, there can only be two things left that could be happening: 1. The clutch is not getting a signal to turn on. This indicates some form of wiring problem. -or-. 2. The AC compressor is getting a command to turn on but is no longer able to, which would indicate that it needs replacing. 2.
